2012 marks Goldman Sachs’ first annual Builders + Innovators Summit, a gathering of a select group of up-and-coming US entrepreneurs and seasoned business leaders designed to foster dialogue, idea sharing, and economic progress.

On October 22-24, 2012, Goldman Sachs hosted its first annual Builders + Innovators Summit (B+I) in Newport Beach, California. The Summit brought together an elite group of emerging business leaders with seasoned innovators for a three-day forum in which participants and speakers exchanged ideas, insights and strategies for growing and enhancing their businesses and driving economic growth through business innovation.

Each year since 2012’s inaugural Summit, B+I features a newly selected list of 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs hailing from industries as diverse as healthcare, IT, energy and entertainment. Participants come together with accomplished senior business leaders to learn from one another through plenary and small group sessions as well as organic interaction and idea sharing.

The firm’s history of helping entrepreneurs fund and grow their businesses dates back to its inception. B+I has emerged as yet another way Goldman Sachs supports and promotes business transformation and growth—in this case by leveraging its convening power to bring together some of the best entrepreneurial minds in the world for an unparalleled learning and networking event.
